The METGAV journey is closely tied to the figure of Mohammed Reda Abid, an Algerian entrepreneur born in 1976. Coming from a family deeply rooted in national values, he has shown from an early age a strong desire to contribute to the development of his country. His first businesses, specializing in electrification and the commercialization of electrical equipment, already reflect a pioneering spirit and a long-term vision.
In 2019, Mohammed Reda Abid decided to take on a new challenge: the metallurgical industry. The creation of METGAV INDUSTRY marks a major turning point in his entrepreneurial journey. With the ambition to create jobs and strengthen the national economy, he established several production units in Algeria, notably in Tlemcen and Ain Defla.
Under the leadership of its founder, METGAV experiences rapid and sustained growth. The company quickly establishes itself as a major player in metal processing and hot-dip galvanization in Algeria.
METGAV's ambition goes beyond the Algerian market. The company aims to become a key player in the metallurgical industry on an international scale. It has already started export operations in Mauritania, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Senegal, demonstrating its ability to conquer new markets.
