Born in 1976, father of two children, and holding a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Mr. ABID Mohammed Reda is the founder and General Manager of EURL METGAV INDUSTRY.
Coming from a first-rate revolutionary family, he is a nationalist and a passionate defender of the values of the Algerian State, continuously contributing to the economic development of his country.
With his extensive experience in the electrification of medium and low voltage networks and endowed with the qualities of a visionary and insightful leader, he continues to build a Strong and Dignified Algeria, an Algeria that wins.
He created his first company in 2000, specialized in the construction of electrical lines, followed by the creation of COMELGAZ, a company specializing in the commercialization of electrical and gas equipment.
In 2019, he ventured into an industry that is a significant creator of employment and wealth for our country: the metal industry and hot-dip galvanization. This led to the creation of METGAV INDUSTRY, which operates three production units located in Ain Fezza and Ghazaouet (Tlemcen), and Boumedfaa (Ain Defla), creating 1,000 direct jobs and 2,000 indirect jobs.

Under his leadership, other companies were established successively after METGAV, including:

- SARL METAL & METAL
- EURL METGAV NEGOCE.  

Mr. ABID Reda's vision can be summarized in the following points:

- Contribute to the diversification of the national economy to move beyond the post-oil era by investing heavily in the steel industry, while aligning with the strategic vision of the highest authorities of the country.
- Contribute to the creation of jobs and wealth for our beloved Algeria, helping it reach the level of developed countries by laying the foundations of a socially responsible group that grows year after year on solid and sustainable foundations.
- Develop local and national skills to conquer international markets with products that meet the required standards, as demonstrated by ongoing operations in Mauritania, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Senegal.
- Support the local and social development of the regions where METGAV Group operates by strengthening its activities, particularly with the future creation of other subsidiaries:
- SARL METGAV BOLTS, specialized in the manufacturing of bolts and screws.
- SARL BIO SOLUTION, specialized in surgical alcohol and its derivatives.
- The Mega Project of the ROLLING MILL, for which studies are already at an advanced stage and will be operational by 2029.

In this perspective, METGAV INDUSTRY aims to strengthen its position in the labor market and skills development. This will result in the creation of 6,000 direct jobs, contributing to reducing unemployment and improving local and national employability.

This entire vision is the result of a strategy to sustain the METGAV Group and the hard work put in every day to make Algeria a global leader and an essential player in the metallurgical industry.
