After the successful launch of two containers of zinc ash in February, METGAV continues its international expansion with the shipment of two additional containers, also totaling over 52 tons, to Italy. This new shipment marks another milestone in our internationalization efforts and demonstrates the growing demand for our high-quality products.
The zinc ash, derived from our hot-dip galvanization process, continues to generate significant interest internationally due to its high zinc content, which is widely used in various industries, including alloy production and construction materials. We ensure that each shipment meets international standards, guaranteeing the quality of our products and optimizing our logistics processes to meet the needs of our partners.
This launch further strengthens our presence in the European market and highlights our ability to meet the growing demands of our customers. In an atmosphere filled with national pride, the Wali of Tlemcen, Mr. Youssef Bechlaoui, presided over a significant event today: the launch of METGAV Industry’s first export operation. This shipment, departing from the port of Ghazaouet, consists of multi-service kiosks intended for various uses and exported to Mauritania.
During the ceremony, Mr. Bechlaoui toured METGAV’s facilities, located in the El Ghazaouet industrial zone. He praised the professionalism of the teams and the modernity of the production equipment, highlighting the company’s expertise.
The Wali also emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses in their ambition to establish themselves in international markets. This first export represents a major step forward for the economic development of the Tlemcen region.
